So, if you're here. Hi. You may be wondering, "Taylor, why did you decide to make a website? What's up with all of this?" or as Napalm Death put it in their 1987 Grindcore classic 'You Suffer'... "But why?"

The answer to that really just comes down to a mixture of because I can, because I thought it would be nice to have my own little slice of internet that I control, and because it was a fun little project. I have found that I can get so wrapped up with work and the world around me, that I start to get depressed. I find that a good way to combat that feeling is to start some sort of project. Sometimes it's a song, other times it's art, or it could be a short story or poem. This time, I picked a website. I saw a video pop up on my Reccomended page on YouTube by angieblah about how she made her own website on the indie web. The vid was fun, and I had been feeling like I wanted my own little space to scream into the void instead of doing that on Twitter or Facebook... so I followed suit.

Anyway. With my own little bit of internet space here, I'll be putting up any music I want (that may or may not be as accepted on other platforms due to sampling), some of the stuff I write, and any random musings or thoughts here on my blog. I'm going to start moving some posts I do as a tradition here and anything else in the coming weeks... so... keep an eye out if you want, I guess?
